About UM Hillel
1429 Hill StreetAnn Arbor, MI 48104 (734) 769-0500 On Google Maps: Locate UM Hillel Hillel is the second largest student organization at the University of Michigan, housing more student-run programs than any other group except for the University Activities Center. We present performing artists, lectures, concerts, films, classes, symposiums, community action projects, religious services and a full kosher meal program. We also throw great parties. Hillel serves as an umbrella organization for more than 45 student groups and programs, expressing a diverse spectrum of approaches to Jewish life combining religious, cultural and political, traditional and alternative. Hillel is where students find a close and supportive community, and make life-long friendships. At Hillel, we work hard and play hard. Our organizations are peer-led, and the students responsible for running these organizations gain important leadership skills, as well as the satisfaction that comes from enriching the larger community. You can come to Hillel to hang out, catch a movie, to study or use our computers. Inside the Hillel building you'll find a vast selection of information about jobs, scholarships, programs happening on campus, visiting Israel, and volunteer opportunities in the community. Hillel is open every day during the school year from 9 am until midnight. |
