The Jewish Graduate Association for the Michigan Experience (J-GAME) consists of several organizations that serve Jewish graduate students. These organizations are based both on professional schools and interests: JAGS (Jewish Association of Graduate Students), JLSA (Jewish Law Student Association), RJSA (Ross Jewish Students Association), OJSW (Organization of Jewish Social Workers), JeMSA (Jewish Medical Students Association), J-GAME Israel, J-GAME Social Events, J-GAME Jewish Learning, J-GAME Sports, and J-GAME Friday Night Dinners. Students can choose to be on as many or as few of these lists as possible. For all groups, contact the person listed or Allison Sheren, Hillel’s Program Director, at for more information.

Jewish Law Students Association (JLSA)

JLSA is a student organization at the University of Michigan Law School that provides a wide variety of religious, social, and cultural programming for the entire student body of the Law School.

Members also have the opportunity to participate in regional and national Jewish law student conferences and events. The best way to keep up to date with current JLSA events is to join our email list. To be added, just email .

Ross Jewish Students Association (RJSA)

The Ross Jewish Students Association provides social, cultural and networking opportunities for graduate Jewish business students. The club aims to bring its members together with other Jewish graduate students on campus as well as serves as an educational resource for the greater business school community. Jewish Medical Student Association (JeMSA)

JeMSA organizes social events and holiday celebrations and provides resources for internships and summer programs in Israel. Contact Julia Geynisman ( ) or Matthew Modes ( ) to be on the list or for more information.

Jewish Association of Graduate Students (JAGS)

An organization for all graduate students who are not getting professional school degrees. The group has a reserved table at Friday night dinners at Hillel, bar nights, and other special events. Please contact Luba ( ) or Steven ( ) for more information.

Organization of Jewish Social Workers (OJSW)

J-GAME Israel

This cluster is a chance to meet students from all graduate areas while having Israel-related events. Events include speakers, coffee talks, and anything else that students decide to plan.

J-GAME Social Events

This cluster is a chance to meet students from all graduate areas. Events include bar nights, coffee meet and greets, and various other outings. Contact Brooke Kerendian for more information or to be added to the list at

This cluster is a chance to meet students from all graduate areas. Events include attending sporting events, watching sports together, and more.

J-GAME Jewish Learning

J-GAME Friday Night Dinners
