Interfaith Programming:

For some Jewish students on campus, talking and working with students of different faith backgrounds can be a way to deepen Jewish identity. In the past years Hillel has been finding ways to positively reach across religious divides on campus to contribute to a more vibrant, religiously pluralistic environment on campus.

Hillel regularly hosts students on campus from across the religious spectrum for shabbat dinners and a variety of dialogue events as well. Hillel also supports other efforts on campus to bring students from various backgrounds together to learn about their differences and deepen their identities, including: multi-faith volunteer work at the Ginsberg Center, and Inter-group Dialogue classes on campus through the IGR program .

Talk to any Hillel staff if you would like more information about this work or email .

  MuJews
Over the past three years Hillel students have participated in a "MuJew"
Muslim/Jewish Alternative Spring Break trips to New Orleans and New York. The trip involves 10 weeks of preparation, fundraising, Muslim-Jewish dialogue, and then an intensive week of working at an ASB site doing volunteer work. For more information, please contact Tilly Shames at .

MuJew

MuJew seeks to bring Muslim and Jewish students together in an open and comfortable environment to learn about each other's cultures and religions. Through social, cultural, and volunteer events, members will forge friendships, break down barriers, and feel empowered enough to reach out to other Muslim and Jewish students and groups on campus.
